Access performances of Groundhog Day at The Old Vic theatre

Fancy a fun night out at the theatre? The Olivier-award winning musical Groundhog Day is playing at The Old Vic until August 2023!

This comic parable, based on the 1993 hit film, is a story of love, hope and transformation. Phil Connors is a pretty awful guy. But when the cynical Pittsburgh TV weatherman is sent to cover the kooky annual Groundhog Day event at a small town in Pennsylvania, he finds himself caught in a time loop that sends him on a hilarious path to enlightenment and redemption.

Following recent improvements, The Old Vic is now more accessible than ever. There is a step-free entrance on Waterloo Road with lift access to the Box Office, inner foyer, Penny bar and café, and stalls level of the auditorium. Once inside the auditorium there are up to 8 wheelchair spaces at every performance, including gaps that allow for two wheelchairs to be positioned side-by-side.

The Old Vic team believes that anybody should be able to access and experience theatre. You can find more in-depth access information for this venue in AccessAble’s Detailed Access Guide For The Old Vic.

Performances run until 19 Aug, with evening performances at 7.30pm and Wed and Sat matinees at 2.30pm. There are also the following access performances, which are open to all:

Audio described performance: Fri 07 Jul, 7.30pm (Touch Tour: 5.30pm)
