Outside Access

  • Entrance View
    • This information is for the entrance located at the rear of the building.
    • The entrance area/door is clearly signed.
    • This entrance is signed with 'Historic Duxford'.
    • There is step-free access at this entrance.
    • There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at this entrance.
    • There is a dark mat or floor marking at this entrance that might be perceived as a hole.
    • The entrance door(s) does/do contrast visually with its immediate surroundings.
    • The main door(s) open(s) automatically (towards you).
    • The door(s) is/are single width.
    • The width of the opening is 80cm.
    • There is a similar set of doors located further along the building.
      These doors are push pad operated.
      The height of the push pad is 100cm.

    • During busy periods this area can become congested.
